It's sort of fascinating to see how every single outrage from Republicans is instantly turned around and made into an arbitrary litmus test for Democrats.
The day before early election starts, when most Dems will actually be paying attention and it will have the most impact, all the while allowing Mamdani to maintain his outsider/progressive appeal by making it a "last minute" endorsement. It's almost like Jeffries is a good politician or something.

My pet theory that I have zero evidence for is that it all went wrong once Lucas decided not to introduce Luke's twin sister (who was supposed to be a whole different character), and instead shoehorn Leia into the role because god forbid there be TWO women
