The reason I am screenshotting this is because OP turned off the ability to reply or quote his posts. He wants to control exactly how people engage; aka making the site unwelcoming, saying who he doesn't want talking to him, setting rules for what other people should say in response.

Post that started a long, tedious thread by some dude named James Ball: "Bluesky is shrinking rather than growing. It has no source of revenue. If it doesn't grow, *it will die*. Constantly making it unwelcoming, saying who you don't want here, setting rules for what other sites people should and shouldn't use, and the like, will kill it quicker.

But I am more than a critic: I am a hater. I am not here to make a careful comprehensive argument, because people have already done that. If you’re pushing slop or eating it, you wouldn’t read it anyway. You’d ask a bot for a summary and forget what it told you, then proceed with your day, unchanged by words you did not read and ideas you did not consider. I am here to be rude, because this is a rude technology, and it deserves a rude response. The 28th Virginia battle flag is a Confederate battle flag that belonged to the 28th Virginia Infantry Regiment. Captured by the 1st Minnesota Infantry Regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg, the flag was brought to Minnesota and exhibited at the state's capitol for several years before passing into the permanent collection of the Minnesota Historical Society after 1896 where it has remained since. Although various groups in Virginia have requested that the flag be returned, beginning as early as 1960, Minnesota has repeatedly declined to return it, with Governor Jesse Ventura (serving 1999–2003) asking "Why? I mean, we won."
