Judge Friesler condemned thousands of people to death under Hitler's regime, and his reign of terror ended when an American B-17 dropped a bomb on the Berlin courthouse where he was presiding. Friesler had ordered the courthouse evacuated and then returned to retrieve the prosecution files.
The clip above is from Judge Freisler's People's (kangaroo) Court prosecution of anti-Hitler resistance in 1944. Hitler had their slow and gruesome executions filmed for his private viewing pleasure in the evenings -- much the way I imagine Trump enjoys watching Leavitt insult reporters. Full clip:

It’s genuinely wild that the United States spent decades building an elaborate rules-based international order which de facto cemented its permanent status as the dominant global hegemon, sustained by ideology rather than might, and now is just blowing it all up for literally no reason

The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

Rough vibes on this website today, likely because people feel Hopeless and Helpless Because Can't Stop It and No One Who Is Supposed To Is Trying To So Now We're Fighting Each Other™. I recommend activities such as book, or potentially instrument if you like instrument, or even do talk on phone.

This is not a tool that the general public should be utilizing with that level of frequency unless there’s a reason to do it—which is to assess and monitor the evolution of mild dementia or impairment.

One of the things she handles is our health insurance. That means the monthly premium. The phone calls. The disputes. The endless back-and-forth when the same charge magically shows up twice.
