We got fascism and AI instead of replicators and flying cars. I will never forgive technocrats for this

my 89-year-old relative in Philly is going to go learn to guard schools against ICE (and will watch over his grandchild's school.) He is coping with cancer and a spouse with dementia and this is what he's doing with his precious few hours away from caregiving. He's stoked about the whistle. #hero

At a child’s birthday party and somehow I ended up giving advice on how to deal with bear mace.

(not really bear mace, it’s what we call MPD’s special extra strength formula)

If you are watching the opening ceremony on NBC, you won't hear the boos of JD Vance because NBC cut it. Corporations working to keep Americans in the dark about how unpopular their elected officials are. The White House reposted the censored clip.

Bezos horribly slashed from the Washington Post today much of the arts coverage including editor Jon Fischer ( who was once a great Washington City Paper writer & editor), and pop music critic Chris Richards. Also the book section, the sports section, & overseas writers and more .
I consider 2025 my finest professional year. The Post just laid me off.
