Seven Select Committee Chairs have written jointly to the Prime Minister calling for an explicit ban on cryptocurrency donations in the forthcoming Elections Bill.

This is not an argument about digital assets. It is an argument about democratic integrity.

A quick question to Brexiters and Trump supporters in the UK...

Now that Trump has seized Venezuela's oil to "Make America Great Again", what's to stop him demanding our North Sea oil or any other physical/ intellectual resources?

If it was the EU taking another nation's oil, how would you react?

Tommy Robinson was recently refused service at a steakhouse.

It was one of the few times that Snorty Smurf didn't have beef with anyone 🤣

For anyone who is unaware or pretends that Farage doesn't want to privatise the NHS, which incidentally has been funded by general taxation for the last 80 years but Nigel insists that such a funding model "doesn't work".

The industrial revolution didn't destroy jobs.

The computer revolution didn't destroy jobs.

AI won't destroy jobs.

These fundamental shifts in the way we work may destroy skills and professions, but new professions will always be created because of these technological advancements...

People told me that getting a dog makes you healthier.

They didn't say that my dog would beg every day at the local roll shop until they started treating her to pieces of sausages.

And now I feel obligated to buy unhealthy rolls regularly to put money back in their till 😂

Saw this on X.

Merlin Strategy, run by Scarlet Maguire (formerly of JL Partners) is Farage's favoured polling company. Until very recently, registered at the same address as the Brexit Party's old one.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Those who don't understand politics:
"The Germans we fought against in WW2 then used the EU to try to control us."

Those who do:
We fought against numerous fascist Governments during WW2.
The UK was an equal member in the EU, although countries in the EEC originally didn't want us joining.

Reminder: ICE has a budget bigger than most militaries around the world.

It has increased its spending on weapons by 700% since Trump took office.

Trump is building his own personal military to terrorize American cities, trample on civil rights, and intimidate his opponents.

So just found out that Audible have silently removed six audiobooks from my library. Because I noticed, and complained, they gave six credits to buy them back again. They did this because the publishers updated the books and Audible just deleted the old versions.

If this is true, it is indefensible. Blocking a doctor and an ambulance is not “law enforcement.” It is state violence. Full stop.

If we let Trump steal resources from the Venezuelan people, then we are also giving him the green light to take Greenland, Canada and our own North Sea oil if he chooses to do so.

You don't have to be a fan of Maduro in order to condemn the breaking of international law.

DOJ briefly uploaded this letter from Jeff Epstein to serial child molester Larry Nassar:

"Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to 'grab snatch,' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system."

You may have seen search engine adverts for the fantastic looking 3D jumpers or the clip of the dog toy that looks so real that "my veterinarian couldn't tell that it wasn't a real dog".

The problem is, none of these products are real. Welcome to the world of AI...

To all those who go on about "low skilled immigrants"...

Check the labels on your clothes and you'll probably find that most items come from places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, etc.

Now buy a sewing machine and try making a basic t-shirt if you really think it's "low skilled".

When you reduce wealth inequality in one country, you reduce slave labour in another.

Most people don't want to buy cheap, often inferior goods imported from nations who depend upon slave labour to keep prices down.

Measuring somebody's "value" in society solely upon the amount of tax they pay is ridiculous, as it would value somebody running a call centre scamming hundreds of thousands of pounds out of pensioners higher than a social care worker who is actually helping to care for those same pensioners...

It's odd listening to Brexit champion Nick Ferrari celebrating the UK rejoining Erasmus and telling listeners how his brother studied in Vienna.

I may be wrong, but I've never heard him being critical of the Conservatives for taking Erasmus away from British students in the first place.
