kurosawa double feature. i was a little lukewarm on the first half just because it wasn't as experimental and gripping as Bright Future but oh my god once it kicks off it is absolute cinema. there are literally no good people in this movie. absolute banger

my goat kurosawa kiyoshi does it again. great flick. what a way to start off the year. really captures the stagnant malaise of the 2000s, but still hits now when the only future i can imagine is darkness. shot composition goes off the fucking chain
