What Katie said but it’s really not that hard if you have leaders who are brave enough to say we are at are best:

if our food is safe
If we have help caring for aging parents
If we can buy a house
If we can live on what we earn
If the next generation can do likewise
If we protect the marginalized

Zuckerberg is offering random guys $100m to join Meta to “build super intelligence” despite his lead scientist saying it isn’t possible. Sam Altman and Jony Ive may have ripped someone off, Microsoft is ready to let them die.

Silicon Valley, where dreams go to die a billion dollars at a time.

If it’s the Republicans who caused the problem it’s always the Democrats who are to blame. Makes sense.

It’s heartbreaking to watch a nation that once inspired the world now struggles to hold itself together.
This isn’t the America we believed in!
As a neighbor, it’s painful to watch the fire spread from a home we once admired.

I didn’t have the Supreme Court destroying the authority of federal district courts on my bingo card. But in retrospect that’s perhaps where all this shadow docket decision-making was going all along.

Really scary stuff.

Marco Rubio needs to be asked whether he believes his grandfather who remained in the U.S. after receiving a deportation order from our govt should have been treated the way the father of 3 Marines was treated by ICE this weekend in California.

ASK HIM. Make him confront his lack of character.
So video of this 2012 interview is popping up on other sites. Feels super relevant at the moment. Wait for the moment Rubio gets pinned to the wall about his grandfather’s deportation order…

Democrats are racking their brains trying to find the "Joe Rogan of the left" while doing everything they can to defeat people like Zohran Mamdani and AOC, who actually possess the skills they're so desperately looking for.
the thing with Mamdani is that he’s obviously an incredible political talent - the campaign he’s run has been extremely impressive even if you don’t like his policies

the party should be delighted, and that they’re instead pulling out all the stops to beat him speaks volumes

We didn't believe Bush and Cheney then, and we don't believe these bastards with *tens of thousands* more documented lies now.
A reminder that the only reason Iran is a theocratic authoritarian regime is that in 1953, the US and UK (via the CIA and MI-6) decided to do a “regime change.”
VANCE: "Our view has been very clear that we don't want a regime change."

HEGSETH: "This mission was not and has not been about regime change."

RUBIO: Regime change is "certainly not the goal of what we're working on here."

The “root cause” of measles is the measles virus. You don’t need to treat what no one contracts. That should be embarrassingly obvious.
In 2025, The New York Times is still acting as a stenographer for quack claims like treating "root causes" and boosting immunity.

The article is entitled ‘I Feel Like I’ve Been Lied To’: When a Measles Outbreak Hits Home

And yet it uncritically repeats long-debunked pseudoscience.
