My political hot take is that US voters should be able to recall elected representatives via petition - at any time.
No more hiding behind election terms.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.
We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.
A vote for this bill is a mistake.

I yearn to seeing governments protect facets of life that are inherently human, work, art, an analog life, like we protect heritage communities. The internet, technology, AI is a harm to humanity and if it continues to go unchecked we’re going to inflict irreparable damage on our species.

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.
Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

With millions at risk of losing SNAP in the coming days, a reminder: hunger doesn't happen in isolation. When food assistance disappears, families use rent money to eat. Then come evictions and homelessness.
Housing, food, healthcare—it's all connected. Cut one thread and the whole thing unravels.

Dems have an opportunity to exploit this. Make Dump think that Russel Vought and Stephan Miller are really the ones in charge and that he's just a puppet. If that gets inside his head, then Miller and Vought will be his enemies.

BREAKING: Supreme Court ruling allows the Trump admin to unilaterally refuse to spend $4B in congressionally appropriated foreign assistance funds.
The ruling allows the admin to ignore Congress's power of the purse – in violation of fundamental separation of powers principles.

Trump demands an “immediate investigation” into the UN escalator that stopped when he stepped on it, saying those responsible “should be arrested.”
Reports say it was triggered by one of his own videographers accidentally triggering the safety mechanism.

I fully encourage European leaders to strengthen their independence from the US. We need strong allies that can push back on the US when we’re wrong, which is often.
Also, if there were to be a coup inside the US (👀) we need allies that can exert pressure from the outside

genuinely believe that a large number of political, economic and media elites do not realize that nearly half the voting public did not vote for trump
currently at record-high search interest for canceling disney plus. pulling kimmel is a bigger deal to the company's bottom line than any of the "woke" scandals of the past 5 years. i think news & entertainment corp execs need put more work into understanding their audience, & get off twitter

We don't need one giant act of heroism. We need millions of small acts of solidarity. Help one person in your community for nothing in return. Then, do it again. And again.
That's the revolution.
