Sorry not shocked and counterpoint to what’s happening w trump and Johnson suppressing tales of rape. Even when some are held accountable nothing changes. They’re terrified since they vilified EVE. It’s HER fault they can’t manage themselves.

It’s common that victims of terrible scams are so embarrassed they’ll do anything to keep the secret of being so wrong. Some compassion may be needed. We don’t want them all to kill themselves in shame.

I find the op-ed declaring Pelosi an "American political giant" almost as repugnant as Douthat. Yes, she did some hugely important things, broke barriers, & was a fierce tactician--until she wasn't.
