I am beyond enraged. My father died at 66 from pancreatic cancer. He never got to meet his daughter-in-law let alone his granddaughter. In the time since he died in 2008, pancreatic cancer has risen to be the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related deaths, up from 4th. These people are evil.

Just like Trump demolished the East Wing of the White House immediately after announcing plans, he put his name on Kennedy Center hours after a sham vote. Question is will we be ready for what’s next?? What do his minions/sycophants control? Start a list …
"I know we shouldn't be surprised that he liked to move on this so fast, but it did just happen like 12 hours ago."

JVL and Catherine Rampell discuss the re-naming of the Kennedy Center, as Donald Trump continues to put his name on anything he can—congressional approval or not.

So the Board "voted" yesterday & suddenly they have letters to install the next day? This has been weeks if not months in the making, just as health insurance premiums are skyrocketing, boats being blown up off Venezuela's coast & gov't was shut down ... Kennedy Center's name is in US law.

It almost goes without saying, but this is illegal. The name "John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts" is established by law and the board doesn't have the power to change it. 20 USC 3 §§ 76h - 76s.

Today, @lujan.senate.gov and I pressed Chairman Carr on the need for an independent FCC.

Carr said he doesn’t think the FCC is an independent agency and has now immediately removed any reference of the FCC being an “independent agency” from it's website. This is all a big scam.

When Harry Met Sally has an impeccable script, of course, but SO much of the comedy in that movie is in the directing. Where would Harry’s confession about his wife leaving him be without the wave interrupting it at a baseball game? Also, the most gorgeous fall shot in history?

OK then, what was the action? What has the Trump admin done? What proposals have they made? They have only ever offered “thoughts and prayers” on social media. Nothing else.

Bruce Hornsby hits #1 today in 1986 with “The Way It Is”.

“Just when one thinks we are making progress,” he said, “appalling incidents will occur that shock and sadden anyone who is interested in equality in American life,” he said. “So sadly, the song still retains a bittersweet topical quality.”

The text and history all point in one direction and the counter-arguments are patently fraudulent. I am going to lose my mind
The evidence is the text. All you have to do is read the Constitution.
