The Brian Lehrer Show just did a call-in segment on listeners' morning routines and it's a humbling exercise in selection bias. Every caller is like, well my alarm goes off at 4am, then I do some Tai Chi, read for 20 min, then hit the gym for an hour so I get back in time to walk the dog before work

It's obvious what happened here, right? Someone in the white house googled "list of countries in the world," the top hit is the Wikipedia entry which also has separate lines for territories like Heard and McDonald even when they are uninhabited. Then everything Trump had no opinion on got a default
