Nightly numbers are in. Strong snow signal remains. ❄️

Most models show 7-12 inches around Beltway. Euro AI system avg leading pack at 16 inches. GFS suite the snow-lover special.

But warm air aloft could bring problematic ice, especially SE of DC.

Admitting that your vote for Trump was a weapon aimed at LGBTQ people but the only problem is that it’s now pointed towards you and your people is a sad & predictable outcome.

This is the story of a lot of immigrant Trump voters in 2024.

Because nothing says it's a free press like this -- yikes.

Shame CBS completed gave into the regime -- just a complete act of cowardice and short-term thinking.

once again the real divide in the Dem party is fight/don’t fight and it is extremely encouraging to see one of the more centrist standard bearers firmly on Team Fight

Spanberger should be able to easily replace them given Dem trifecta

Amazing things can happen when committed Dems pass what we know is popular, needed legislation. 💙

More of this across America in 2026 please! 👏👏👏
Virginia's legislative session only started yesterday, and it was a very big day.

The House already passed four constitutional amendments on Day 1:
—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

Next: Senate.

They are unlawfully detaining people for First Amendment protected activities, as far as I can tell. Dragging people out of their vehicles absent witnessing a crime and without a judicial warrant is repugnant to our constitutional order.
New video shows ICE agents detaining a US citizen legal observer in Minneapolis.

The agents smashed his car window, dragged him out, and placed a knee on his neck.

Sure would be nice if some House and Senate Republicans could grow a pair for once and call out this madness for what it is.

But it’s not like the GOP has had values for a while. It’s Trump worship up and down — or those too cowardly to speak out. The rot of the Republican Party runs DEEP.

Sure would be nice if Dems had respective leaders in both the Senate and House who don’t regularly speak in word salads. 🥗😒

Speaking like a human being and not a parliamentarian robot would be a nice place to start.
Hakeem Jeffries talking in inarticulate circles on the Last Word tonight clearly demonstrates the need for new Dem leadership. We have the bench strength in the party to do so much better. We need strong messaging, a compelling plan and leaders able to inspire.

Republicans’ willful ignorance of battery tech is truly a head in the sand sight to behold. 🤦‍♂️

Even without batteries, offshore wind will still be critical for meeting in the moment energy demand as we see demand for power skyrocket.
Burgum: "The wind energy only works when the wind is blowing. And at times when we've needed it the most along the east coast during the coldest days and hottest days, we've had 2% of the entire grid being powered by wind. You still need all the rest of the power."
