There’s this wonderful thing called Tuesdays At 9 where they read new works at Chicago Dramatists. Actors show up early and get cast on the spot. My favorite part is how loud everybody cheers for whoever reads stage directions. I wish I’d discovered this lovely event years ago! It is free!

Saturday matinee #theatre treat is a version of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Bridge Theatre. It's an immersive performance which The Guardian described as "joyous", so I'm looking forward to mixing happily with the characters.
