No SSR that fixes the reflections on edges?

I know is due screenspace, but wonder if there is any SSR+ that fixes/fake it in some way? Without fill the entire scene with sphere/box reflections, just SSR.

I dont know, like stretch the edges to avoid that empty ¿?

Im porting a shader from 5.2 to 5.7 but seems now Velocity cant be read in the .USH but in .USF.

So, before move all the maths to the .USF, is there any workaround? Im doing some research but found nothing.

No idea you can achieve this with MetaSound.

Actually using FMOD which gives good results, but if i can get same/similar with a native plugin instead of a third party one, well, i think this worth a try at least.

Using vertex colors on a 3D model, later inside Unreal Engine, via material you can customize with 2 different methods:
1. 3 colors (RGB channel) with gradient
2. 8 colors (Via IFs) without gradient

But any way to use any color amount and edit them in UE without material? #UnrealEngine #3DArt

How much can cost a mod system like Assetto Corsa does?

Guess, a folder per car with:
Car Setup (Physics, Name, Description)
3d car model(.FBX) (Allowing various lods too)
Car Liveries, Various Textures (Smoke, Skidmakrs)(.PNG)
FMOD Car Library (Package with all car sounds)

Totally! Mostly because:
Mac Sales= 1%, Mac Support emails: 99%

And most of the time are basics things like they get error/damaged file after unzip or not works after update the OS, etc...

I ended saying: Pick the demo, try Wine/Parallel... , if works for your needs the full version will do too.
Reasons include, but not limited to;
- Apple is a terrible anti-consumer/developer company
- The cost of development is high
- Requires Apple hardware which I do not own
- Apple users in general require too much support
- Keeping the software running costs too much maintenance
- License/notarization

Well, thats a cool game mechanic!
Sometimes I hate myself for the kind of gameplay ideas I have, coding this tumbling block physics with the screws was SOO hard

But I'm happy that the block puzzles are getting more varied and better integrated with the platforming, pacing and all

(game is ABYSS X ZERO, btw)

Love this kind of old 3D tricks when you had to optimize everything as much as possible for better FPS or lower disk space.
Alright! Let's actually talk about this waterfall thing. It is an amazing showcase of many things that I adore from late 90s/early 2000s graphics.
I am replicating this in Blender through mere observation, so some things might not be fully accurate to the mind-boggling effects of the PS1.

Checked some videos and graphics are so realistic, but the lack of speed compared to Dirt Rally2 is like going at 0.5 speed.

Also seems there is some bug with blur when car goes behind something with it, it affects too, is like they not checked "render before blur" in some materials ¿?.

Love the small details, when you drift and the wing collides with the floor creating some kind of spark 👌
Background + sprite animation (the ship is now pre-rendered) and... tunnels ! I think I can add more gameplay elements and stay at 30fps, there is hope, the megadrive is a beast :o

Its possible, sometimes, UnrealEngine not compiles correctly from living coding that makes game work in some way like if some values are not what should do? #UnrealEngine #Programming

But, then, when you realize that, if you remove binaries/intermediate from project and plugin and recompile is ok?

OH MY! So cool! Same as me, loved Wipeout art but that physics/driving nope, maybe more like Fzero, with less "bouncing" (up/down) will be great.
Jumping! I want the driving to feel smooth and arcadey like a Sega Rally. I was never a big fan of Wipeout's physics, but I love the graphics obviously :)

I consider godot to be one of the most important software projects of our time and it's a huge privilege to be able to contribute to it. Happy to see it grow and be used for increasingly ambitious games and apps ❤️

For vehicle physics in Unreal Engine, should use always atan2 instead of atan? #UnrealEngine #Programming #Gamedev

This:
mSlipAngle = FMath::Atan2(mLocalVelocity.Y, absForwardVelocity)

Instead of:
mSlipAngle = FMath::Atan(mLocalVelocity.Y / (absForwardVelocity + FGearUtility::epsilon));
