There’s competition, I know. But threatening to pull the broadcast licenses of the affiliates of an entire “big-3” television network unless they stop their evening talk show host from criticizing the president has to be one of the biggest First Amendment violations in U.S. history.

Don't buy the canard that this is about Charlie Kirk. Abusing state power to lean on corporate leaders and get Jimmy Kimmel off the air because he told jokes about the president and made him feel bad was always the plan.

I’m sick of the Guardian’s ‘Labour must…’ habit. Closely followed by ‘That’s good from Labour but…’. I can’t remember the previous government getting this treatment despite laying waste to our economy, public services and standards in public life.
