Comedy guy, Red Sox guy, Uconn guy (he/him guy)
Watching the UConn-BYU game and I guess it's possible that it's this easy to strip Tarris Reed cleanly, but it seems unlikely.

I know it's just an exhibition but it's still fun to tune into the UConn game and see some exciting refereeing.

If the Red Sox want Nathaniel Lowe, why not claim him? Why risk him choosing another team to save ~$2 mil?
August 16, 2025 at 11:14 PM
The Red Sox trade a 1B/3B prospect for a couple months of a veteran lefty reliever. What could go wrong?

Hilarious that the New York Times says Andrew Schulz might be America's foremost political journalist without realizing what a self-own that is.

It's weird how surprised we are that Craig Breslow got rid of a guy who said that he was incompetent and should learn how to do his job.

Craig Breslow about to call the Giants and trade Devers.

Look, you can't blame Alex Cora for trying to protect Aroldis Chapman. He was already on pace for almost 66 IP, and the Red Sox have a lot invested in him.

Better to squeeze another inning out of iron man Garrett Crochet.
June 14, 2025 at 2:19 AM
Why does it seem like the Red Sox are concerned and protecting the workload of every other pitcher on their team over protecting Crochet?

Tonight! This show will be packed with hilarity for sure, but there's an added attraction: you get to see my hairline recede in real time!

It's like she's trying to prove the critics' point.

Critics: How can you waste money on a space trip when the rest of us can barely survive? How can you be so out of touch?

King: Going to space is fun. You should all try it!

It's like ESPN's goal in baseball broadcasts is to show as little baseball as possible, and when they do have to show it, put it in the smallest part of the screen as they can.

And he has the record to himself now?
Including his final 3 games of 2024 - before he was shut down for the shoulder injuries - Devers has now struck out 3+ times in 5 straight games. He joins Jorge Soler in 2020 as the only players in MLB history (or at least as accounted for by Stathead) with 3+ strikeouts in 5 straight games.

UConn ended up with 25 fouls, their second highest foul total of the season. Their highest was 29, in an overtime loss to Memphis (5 of those were in the OT).
Eleven+ minutes in and UConn has been called for precisely three fouls, one of which was on Aidan Mahaney. We’re not in the Big East anymore baby

Rooting for Creighton but that was a great call before the half against them. Creighton tried to intentionally foul but barely touched the Louisville player. No call and Louisville hit the shot.

Big East refs blew this same call in the UConn - Creighton game earlier this year.

Was arguing with a delightful Creighton fan about the Neal dunk at the end of the UConn-Creighton game. After we debated for a bit, he said that UConn talks a lot of s*** and should be able to take it. Then he blocked me. 🤷‍♂️
March 15, 2025 at 10:20 PM
UConn was so bad against Creighton they should be dropped to a 10 or 11 seed. That would show them!

....

Please?
March 15, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Hey everyone pretending like Neal's dunk was just normal, good, clean fun: Jamiya Neal disagrees with you.
March 15, 2025 at 4:41 PM
On its own, Neal's last second dunk in the UConn-Creighton game was pathetic. But context makes it worse. UConn had stopped playing. The refs had stopped officiating, allowing McAndrew to travel & step out of bounds.

But Ashworth and Neal decided their egos needed that dunk. Hope it felt good.

For no particular reason, I was just thinking about UConn's recent win over Providence. Even though Providence repeatedly passed up chances to get their walk-ons in the game, Dan Hurley called a timeout to let them get in.
