This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Bill was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever worked with. It’s almost enough for me to ignore that Joel Embiid plays for that team.
BREAKING: The Sixers are bringing Hip Hop back for a few games this season, to celebrate the 2001 team.
Bill Roth, who played the mascot from 1998-2011, will come out of rabbit retirement, too.
(He'll try not to tear an ACL or achilles this time).

The Sixers’ mascot, Hip Hop, was retired in 2011. Now, for the 25th anniversary of the 2001 team, they’re bringing him back.
And that's not all. Bill Roth, the original mascot, is coming out of retirement as well.

There's a lot of very heavy stuff in this interview with Ricky Rubio. I'm happy he was so open. I'm very happy that he seems to be in a much better place now. I hope his story of making it to the other side of sadness can help others going through similar things.

I was at a car wash in Culver City today that was raided twice last weekend by ICE. 25 car wash workers and 1 customer have been kidnapped over the past several days, and the whereabouts of most of them is unknown. I spoke to families of the kidnap victims:
