It’s about what it means to Irish. I’m of the opinion that if you pull back from the specific examples and switch some words in the title it can be about how difficult it is to define anything that exists liminaly. Regardless it’s an amazing essay.

So I’m doing this thing where I watch old movies and I look for deep lore the movies are free cause they come with Prime and they aren’t necessarily good but it’s fun and free and deep lore is just a way of labeling old stories that I think may have telling of life from a transgender perspective
