i’ll never forget the time someone genuinely for real thought that their angel robot dragon was 100% lore compliant and got really angry when people gently suggested that the lore breaking might be why they weren’t getting the engagement that they wanted in lorehead spaces

I feel like what publishers took away from Baldur’s Gate’s success is that every game needs to have like 5000 hours of content, instead of the much more valuable takeaway imo: you need to let players have sex with a demon lady and a man who turns into a bear
