I always want to write a lawyer au but unfortunately it would be the dullest fic on the planet. you know what I did today. Looked up a style guide to determine whether a comma had to be italicized. Don't let anyone make you think we're cool.

I paid my therapist a zillion dollars to tell me this, so I’m passing it on to anyone else in MN who needs to hear it:
Think of taking time away to recharge not as not doing the work, but as doing quality control for the work. You’re not going to be able to show up to do it well if you’re depleted

so i started volunteering for this local org last fall and have become pretty deeply involved mostly bc i am nosy. anyway the number one problem we struggle with is that new volunteers show up and immediately want to do the most glamorous part of the org. girl i need someone to stuff envelopes

if you are nervous about posting a fic you can always post it on anonymous. you can also do this if you want to post the fic but aren't entirely happy with it but can't be arsed to get to your high standards. and as a fun little side effect if it really pops off you will enjoy an air of mystery.
