the idea that making art is embarrassing if you don't do it well enough to make a career out of it is an objectively harmful and toxic brainworm.
An opinion I pretty firmly hold is that everyone should make a song, paint a painting, act in something, and write a book even if all of those things end up being objectively terrible

Ever since I googled galleons and found out some of them have balconies on their sterns, I haven't been able to let go of the idea of Ed building a balcony on the Revenge to hide out on in between S1 and S2. Here is a "making of" video! 3/4

Colette’s semi-autobiographical novel Chéri, about difficult liaisons, published in 1920, was illustrated twenty years later by one of our favourite artists, Léon Courbouleix. You can see all the illustrations at honesterotica.com/portfolios/5... – it might inspire you to read the book!
