Acho curioso como quase todo "patriota" se afeiçoa apenas com o campo simbólico mais abstrato em relação à "pátria": a bandeira, o brasão, o hino. A pátria concreta, que é o povo, a história, a cultura (o que há de vivo, afinal) é quase sempre rejeitada pelo "patriota".
