Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".

When I said the various Rowlings and Linehans of Britain were assuming and hoping for the public to act as the unpaid enforcement arm of their crank movement, this is precisely what I meant.

When I said the various Rowlings and Linehans of Britain were assuming and hoping for the public to act as the unpaid enforcement arm of their crank movement, this is precisely what I meant.
As a GM there are few moments as nerve wracking as when the players have completely missed the solution to a puzzle and you have to get them unstuck. Most people find the fun in realising how far off they were but there are a handful that get real mad about it and you don't know until it happens.

He's not on Bluesky so I can talk about him without him behind his back. Working with Ross Harmston is my favourite part of doing APs for this reason. He will pass the ball to anyone and it always scores. He's not the only one by any means but man i cannot get enough of improvising with that man.
6. The improv school urge to "win" a scene by being the most, the last, the funniest, the saddest is poison for actual play. You're not here to score points. You're here to build rhythm, tone, and trust. Sometimes, the best move is to pass the ball and let someone else slam dunk the scene.

It really is remarkable just how freely accessible the pathfinder and Starfinder rules are. It catches me out when I'm playing another game and realise I can't just look up any rules question for free in seconds. @archivesofnethys.bsky.social truly do (a) gods work.

Wishing love to any creators who are scrambling to post their Starfinder 2 content today after Paizo lifted the embargo a day early with no notice. Pretty sure when we did day and date content for the Pathfinder 2 launch we were still editing at this point in the process.

My old D&D buddies are late to meet and the bar and it's taking me right back to the days when they'd show up late to sessions where they knew it was a big fight because it meant I was a pint or two ahead of them and would forget all the scary monster abilities.

Turned up late to my weekly Pathfinder game, GM immediately gets me to roll a check to save the ship, roll a nat 20, discover that he's set foundry to play John Cena's theme when I roll 20s.
