I think the dash just isn't used that much in the English grammar.
I used to use it often on my texts but I've been avoiding using it now because I don't want people to think I'm using AI to reply to them.

Some mentioned local people in Jamaica are not giving the right importance to this Hurricane Melissa. I look at the various sites showing the hurricane and I don't understand how they don't?!

Do companies find really the need to send more than one newsletter a week? I would be happy to get them every other week max! But every few days it just makes me click on the unsubscribe button faster.... is that the goal after all?

Before leaving the building the lanyard goes back to the backpack. For the reasons below but also because there's weirdos in this world. Who knows if the person sat next to you on the train will be a stalker? 🤷🏻♀️
Corporate nobodies, you don't need to wear your company lanyards everywhere. I don't need to know you work for Wanksplatter Finance when I am on the train to Peterborough. Or is it a tiny prop in your endless battle against your creeping sense of inadequacy.

The country should have to rely on the charity and food bank work to support the communities. This is work the government is very cheekily passing on, and putting the stress on this.

Damn I started thinking about Grave of the Fireflies and now I am sad. Just the basic message re: these children couldn't possibly be responsible for the scenario they found themselves in, adults created a world that condemned them to a slow and lingering death, and what could possibly justify it?
