Funny that the music I was told is controversial “free jazz” is uploaded by a YT channel called “modern jazz classics.” Correct!

This is liberated Black music. Like Charlie Parker was liberated Black music. Listen for what’s there, not for what isn’t and you’ll be rewarded.

Ooh can’t wait to have time to dive into this new Maintenance Phase episode. Raw milk being legal in Pennsylvania, it’s been such a thing at farmers markets and co-ops for years.
saw that there was a new maintenance phase on *raw milk* and thought "well, this will be alarming and fascinating" and it was many levels beyond my expectations on both counts. so good.

The late, Adrienne Cooper’s adaptation of a Hasidic shabbes song. Lyrics “if my voice were louder” can feel not up to today’s urgency. Like, Past time to get loud!

But when she sings these conditional words, they sound like a command to us all. Her power through her music.

I dream of a day when these companies curdle into shriveled husks and maybe, just maybe, we’ll get something better.

In the meantime, I’ll be listening to @edzitron.com.

Monthly premium going from $500 to $1800 here. Luckily a tax credit can bring it down to "only" $1100 per month.

Instead it looks like I'm going to be paying about $700/mo for a significantly worse plan.

Everyone in Congress knows this is happening and none of them, Rs or Ds, care in the least.
