Kudos to the City of Ann Arbor for doing a pretty decent job of clearing protected bike lanes! (seen here: westbound Pauline)
... but the opposite of kudos to the city for putting in a paint-only door-zone lane on the other side of the road, that's now covered in ice and unusable.

The world’s largest Ostrya virginiana (hop-hornbeam/ironwood) 112 inches in circumference and 70 ft tall. It may not seem huge, but Ostrya are normally sub-canopy trees. Found in Hewen’s Creek Park in southern Ypsilanti Township.

Plows left windrows in the street near the crosswalk ramps. City standard is for streets to be cleared of snow from curb to curb.

#A2Council yet another car-wrecking crash at Summit & N Main this morning. It's mildly traumatizing to see regular car-disabling wrecks next to and on the sidewalks you use every day. The drivers usually walk away, but people on our own neighborhood streets don't have airbags inside a cage.
