I am heartbroken that it is the case, but the 80% is not far off at all.
Probably about 40% of the men in my COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY graduate program would let these words slip. And maybe 20% of the women. Not a stretch to imagine that rate’s about double in the general population.

No one has a holy mission to humiliate Stancil.
Being the most public voice of “actually the economy is good and you’re wrong, look at my chart” is humiliating enough. Now that the numbers he relied upon are shown to be misleading, he’s lashing out. Not once could he imagine admitting he was wrong.

They lack the epistemological insight to realize that the source of each of these false claims is the other false claim, and the result has been that I've had to waste two years of my life fighting with these hyper-aggressive meatheads with a holy mission to just humiliate me personally. It sucks!
