The "Big Beautiful Bill" has a $200,000 lifetime limit higher ed loans.
Med school with in state tuition at a public university is over $200,000, and far more for private or out of state. Law school can be similar.
Being a low-income student just got even harder.

As a public health professional, evidence guides my views. Measles vaccines are safe & Americans are getting sick from consuming too many heavily processed foods with added sugars and oils.
It's not one or the other. We need to eat better and get vaccines to improve public health.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
