i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

I don't think so: the WaPo was the darling of the left for many, many years, and - for that very reason - was shunned by the right. Then, along came Jeff Bezos. The left.. left. In droves. So did most of their best journalists. Now the WaPo is largely ignored by everyone. (I cancelled mine).
If WaPo was covering him properly, we would hear screaming and crying from Trump, others.

I legitimately think this article misses the mark, because Canadians are not avoiding travel out of some principled boycott of the USA over tariffs.
