In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario is immune to bees while talking. He will be pushed around by them, but not be harmed while he's engaged in conversation. Note that he is not simply immune to damage - e.g. he will still die to heat stroke while talking. It is specifically bees.

Looks like that was from a Quillette podcast with Wu in September 2024. I actually said something very similar, but all the way back in November 2012, a couple months after starting HRT and with a more positive outlook (paraphrasing) (web.archive.org/web/20180902...)
