Appointment with a new doctor tomorrow. Filling out the pre-visit paperwork. No option on the form for anything other than Male or Female. I'm scared, but I need healthcare. Hard to believe I have to pray to be treated with dignity and respect. Someday, such things will be called "human rights."

For me, living in a feminine body often means feeling really sentimental about any man who shows me the slightest bit of kindness—because ever since 2016 it has felt more and more rare for men to show women any kindness.

Words are very important to me, and one thing I believe is that clichés and platitudes exist because they were once helpful, but over time they lost their meaning. Because of this, I spend a lot of time trying out new phrases. This will be a thread of my new personal idioms. Feel free to use them :)
