Still have my original VA2 but I messed up the sound chip by plugging the headphone jack into a keyboard amp that wasn't properly grounded. Fried the sound chip...

Look, I know television isn’t always 100% true to reality, but, as someone who had the displeasure of living in Delaware, Ohio for over a decade, I can confirm that we never had anything as remotely cool as a 50’s Cop Hop Fair.

And that’s a wrap on Light Crusader on the Genesis. Took me around 8 hours.
Unlike every other Treasure game on the platform, it really doesn’t have that much of a hook, beyond maybe its magic combo system (which is honestly a bit too convoluted for my tastes and mostly nonessential)….

I just hit what is probably Act III of Light Crusader and uh…wow. Was not expecting that. The game goes some places, huh?

Probably just cosmic coincidence, but it feels too perfect that the network wanted to rename Megatron as “Negator” at one point and then this guy wound up being part of the Beast Wars line a decade later.
