Just found out my 14-year old nephew was murdered. We weren't close, but he lives in my mind as a rowdy little kid opening presents on Christmas. Shitty parents. Gone before he even had a chance. I had hoped to do more for him when he got older. Forge a relationship. But now that door is closed.
