I asked AI (Gemini and CoPilot) to take data from a federal website and scrape it and put it into a spreadsheet for me and they both said, “Can’t do it” so I had to do it on my own which is fine but isn’t this supposed to be the entire point of these AI assistants???

Not to be an abundance bro or whatever but it is crazy how I voted for Measure M in LA in 2016 and some of the major promised projects (eg, Sepulveda Line) won’t be built and completed until I’m in my 60s.

Our 2nd car was totaled while parked on the street 3 weeks after our daughter was born. We bought an Urban Arrow and transitioned to a 1 car household of 4. Our family has biked 7k miles on 2 ebikes since March, me personally doing about 5.5k. We saved $650 in gas and reduced emissions by 2 tons.

In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.
