Amazing, they said: people can use social media to overthrow sclerotic regimes that rule by force, inertia, patronage and propaganda! And then they had a bit of a think about what that could mean, in practice.
What has happened to Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians, Egyptians, Libyans, and many more? What happened to pretty much every country where British wingnuts have loudly yearned for the freedom of the people, this century? The results are instructive!
