This.
Banning social media, and indeed the anti-social use of scramblers and mopeds, will not solve anything.
“A ban does not provide the clubs, the youth workers, the safe playgrounds, the links to their families and friends in the offline world that might nourish and support children.”

Well said by Noeline Blackwell from the Children's Rights Alliance.

'individualism is not set in stone. In fact, it is a relatively recent phenomenon. Before the 1980s, our society was much more collectivist – people were more likely to see themselves as interdependent and were therefore more likely work together to solve their collective problems.'

The only people put in prison over Irish State complicity in lawbreaking at Shannon Airport have been those protesting against it.
A private jet touched down in Shannon Airport. Onboard were Palestinian deportees from the US, their wrists and ankles shackled.

It’s not that the Irish state doesn’t want to involve itself with this depravity – it doesn’t want to acknowledge it.

For the last two and a half years the state has done all it can to reserve judgment on Israeli genocide.

Aside from the work I do on sport, I've been wandering around Europe for more than 20 years interviewing politicians, business people and academics, and the only time this ever comes up is when someone in an Irish think tank says it's a thing.
It's not.

And 260 members now almost have that covered! Join, spread the word with our toolkit (below). Then ACT to make this stop.
