Latest SVT-AV1 builds are very impressive. I'm getting slightly better VMAF scores while encoding at higher FPS yet smaller file results compared with libx265 most of the time now.

Reading up on “Milan”, which is basically a Dante-like UI orchestration layer on top of AVB. It certainly seems like a nice idea. At this point the main thing holding AVB deployment back is lack of commodity switches that properly handle PTP, mostly relegated to enterprise models currently.

I still get emails about that colorspace conversion python script I made a while ago, which has made me realize I probably should make some updated tutorials on those topics.
Though, with my social life in the state it's in, I have to question what creative commitments are worth my time. We'll see.

FFmpeg's "tee" muxer is quite tricky to use because it's so format agnostic, you end up having to manually specify various timestamp handling and bitstream filtering.
