stop using AI to do your research. it hallucinates too often. if you want an answer to something, post something arrogant on the appropriate subreddit. something like: "this item performs 10% better than everything else. only idiots deny this." this will bait nerds into doing your research for you.

boy, it's not fun to think back to comparativist political science
This is when the Linz stuff comes to a head. Two competing branches of government with competing claims of legitimacy in open conflict.
people worry too much about "rigging the midterms" (a phenomenon that would require force they do not have) with "civil crisis over Congress post-victory"

There are a lot of you who seem to be overly concerned about people being rude to you when the people in question are a bit miffed that we're upending the global order and currently threatening to invade their country using a playbook from 12 years ago that is still currently ongoing

Tbh GDP per capita has a lot of problems as a measurement of living standards, it’s just that its fairly objective in ways that most other measurements are not, and the similarly measurable ones are closely related anyways (but not perfectly so, tbc).
Non-economist thought:

It feels problematic to equate GDP-per-capita with "living standards."
