The USA's first educational television network, Alabama Public Television, lost $3 million in grant funds from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, PBS due to Republican budget cuts.

The interesting thing will be to see if ABC affiliate relations reaches out to the 50 TV markets where Nexstar and Sinclair own ABC stations to offer these other stations the Kimmel show live. Has happened in the past.
