Being on social media non-stop for a large majority of the citizens got us here and will not get us out of here.
Friends I’ve known for ages posting endless scrolls of propaganda is disturbing as it lends the possible illusion that their brains have rotted and all they think about are politics.

So torn up about the loss of Brent Hinds. Mastodon is one of my favorite bands. 😔
I hope the bastard that hit him with an entire SUV spends his life in prison.

Hot take: I have zero degrees. All my knowledge came from doing and reading. College for the most part is a guided reading program.
Serious question: If you got one, do you use your college degree?

While testing notes in our new system, I’m dripping sections of Frankenstein in there to test character limits.

Incredibly thought-provoking. Recommended read after mid-life.

Baking replaced writing for me. For now. At least it tastes better than defeat. Also cooking. The family is so pleased to have good food most of the time.

I think I’ll grow carrots this year in a five gallon bucket. Mini growing seems to be less loss of life if I fail at growing food. We eat so many carrots, it’s a no-brainer to make them one of my bigger grows.

I’m not going to make the same mistake I did on Twitter just following random people back. So if you’re looking to fluff your numbers, wrong tree.
If I know you and you know I know you, say hi.

Baked cookies. It’s become a habit almost every weekend, replacing store-bought garbage with made from scratch lovin’ from the oven.

Also why I quit publishing. I’m not a circus pony.
this is really good. single worst part of writing a book for me, and why it didn’t sell that well, was having to self promote it www.vox.com/culture/2024...
Everybody has to self-promote now. Nobody wants to.
So you want to be an artist. Do you have to start a TikTok?

I like this concept. To allow myself to just be terrible but get some words out.
Writer's block is a problem of standards.

Lower your standards enough and the words will flow.

Lower...

Lower...

Even more...

Are you almost at word salad? Perfect. Not blocked anymore, are ya?

You can always go back and fix the salad in post.
