It was a bright sunny day with no clouds which was a welcome change in the weather over the past month. I got some photography practice of the sun to get ready for the eclipse in Spain in August. 2 prominent sunspots. These are stable so no solar flares until late next week. #dwarf3 #astrophography

Well…we’re not bored of the snow yet. He is 10 weeks and 3 days today and 14.2 lbs. (1.018 stones or 6.44 kg or 32205 carat) In theory, you double their weight at 16 weeks to get an estimate of adult weight. We were hoping for a small one under 30 lbs. 🤣🤣🤣

Alright kids. Prepare for cuteness overload for the next 6 months. I’m flying to Indianapolis tomorrow to bring him home. We’ll name him once we get him here and experience his personality. He is a Mini Aussiedoodle. It’s been nearly 2 years since we lost Rosie so we’re ready.

Looks like Boston area will be jackpot location for this storm. Currently, there will be a front that will stall near the coast and push moisture to the storm. So the forecast is ~20” of light fluffy snow Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.

This is a fire bush in our backyard. I think it is around 25 yrs old. It always looks stunning when we get the medium puffy snow. There’s about 4” on the ground so far in Waltham, Ma.

The Charles River by our house is lightly frozen over and has a coating of snow. Ice is not thick enough to skate on yet but it looks pretty.
