Make sure you use 3 second exposure on your camera to get the colors. Also, a good travel selfie/tripod combo to get fun pictures like this. This was from the same sunspot group I was referencing. This was Nov. 11 which was 37 days ago. Science!

Sooo…astronerd powers activate! The sun does a full rotation in 28 days. We just had a big sunspot rotate out that caused the northern lights last week. In 21 days and 49 days, that sunspot group will be back facing Earth which should give you a good chance of great northern lights view those weeks.

I have the Sony Alpha 7R3. There are so many good videos you’ll find on YouTube explaining settings, programming personal settings, and features. Mine has a intervalometer feature to do time lapse photography. I need a better lens with lower f stop to do some astrophotography.

I’m bookmarking this for reactions and advice. I tried DuckDuckGo browser but there is no 3rd party integration. I have about 10 years of passwords and notes in RoboForm so I’d like to keep using it. Maybe Brave or LibreWolf?

I’ve been looking at replace Philips Hue system with NanoLeaf bulbs. We have 2 1st gen Hue bulbs that need replacing. But I can get 4 NanoLeaf for the price of 1 Hue. Main thing is what PIR sensor to replace Hue sensors.
