I sincerely appreciate that Takeshi Koike got the first film budget he's been given since 2009's Redline for his Lupin movie and immediately cashed it all in on animating the hell out of the most off-putting fucking freak he had in him.

Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.

Kinda hard to articulate why, but lately, posting fanfic leaves me feeling kind of dispirited. Or maybe disappointed? Like, I post because I want to be done with that bit of writing, but I haven't felt satisfied with anything I've written lately.
