I dunno about that because that seems like it conveniently absolves writers, editors, etc. to a nameless, faceless entity that cannot be reached.
The #1 biggest misconception about comics I wish I could clear up for everyone. It’s not the writers making these choices. Usually it’s not even the editors. It’s someone’s boss’s boss’s boss who has probably never been online and has an assistant use the computer for them
That decision is made by the people who manage the Corporate Trademarks Cassandra Cain™️ and Stephanie Brown™️, not whoever is writing the title at the time.

I’m not really liking this cowardly characterization of DC’s only relevant Muslim superhero. He is a EMT & physician among other things. Kent Nelson wasn’t magically scared & Hakid has faced far worse threats in his own origin story almost TEN YEARS ago.

I’ve been waiting for Beth Chapel to have a cool moment for years. I’m so glad the JSA book is choosing to utilize her over her white counterparts. She’s long overdue to have some cool moments. Also the art is pretty good on top of that.
