As a Black struggling artist, I relate to Simon Williams' story. His attention to detail was excessive at times, but it came from a place of care and to communicate that which can appear nebulous: emotions. Wonder Man inspired him, and as cheesy as it seemed, the effect was real.

Justice League Unlimited Issue 15 had so much going on and not enough time to cover all of it. Mr. Terrific's team, the Terrific 10, is canon fodder, and it went how I expected.

We find out what Bruce Banner and Betty have been up to, and it's hard to blame him for choosing a quiet life over the destructiveness that the Hulk brings.
But like every hero, sacrifices have to be made for the greater good.

It's very evident when writers include Black characters, and then underserve their storylines. Keeping them away from the main story indicates that the writer doesn't actually care.

I started watching Wonder Man, and I'm impressed. It's tonally refreshing, and based on the setup, it could have poignant points to make about superheroes and acting, as well as artifice and art.

It mixes mythical adventure with heartfelt stakes as Batman proves just how much he cares.
Wonder Woman was effective as hell, showing her magical prowess and tender guidance.
