While I was out today I ran into a little black girl, and I told her that her hair is so pretty. Because that's what I needed to hear when I was growing up, not "ew, it looks like worms." And the way her face lit up made my entire day. Idk, I'm just feeling sentimental right now

So I’m rereading Witches Steeped in Gold before I read Ciannon’s follow-up book, and I’m remembering how much I both love and am so frustrated by Iraya.
