Enya uses a lot of trucker slang from the time period. I went WAYYYY out of my way to buy a long out of print about trucking from the era that happened to have included a glossary of trucker slang. A lot of it is still in use, actually. Truckers still bobtail, and yell at cowboys to this day.

Sometimes in my world building I think "no, that is too silly, I can't do that, it will ruin immersion" but meanwhile in the real world Coney Island had an elephant brothel.
TIL that a giant TERRIFYING ELEPHANT BUILDING used to dominate the Coney Island landscape in the late 1800s. It started as a hotel, very quickly became a brothel, and eventually burned down under mysterious circumstances. The dude who built it thought animal bldgs were the future of architecture.

I saw a you tube video where someone quoted from a book, "I wrought a mighty concerto on the hooter", meaning "I honked my horn a bunch of times" and now I have that phrase stuck in my head like an annoying song.
