@albomp.bsky.social, this is absurd. Every dollar spent on research pays back more, why are we being so short sighted?

This is obscene.

The challenges facing the nation means we should be scaling up CSIRO, not cutting it to shreds.

While we are sending billions to the US for nuclear shipyards, our science and industrial base at home is falling apart for lack of funds and direction.

Over on the dead bird 'Put Australia First' have accused me of lying and 'making things up' and claimed that they "have no association with Nazis." "They are not welcome."

If Nazi's aren't welcome, why is Tommy Robinson, a known fascist, addressing all the 'Put Australia First' rallies via video?

Ngl, quite enjoying the way Aussie indie media rallied to make amends for the mainstream debacle around the Chris Hedges tour. Many fine people played their parts, did their bit.

Folks, if they're willing to lie to you about a genocide, what won't they lie to you about?

Inpex quietly admitted that its Ichthys LNG project drastically underreported its emissions of the cancer-causing chemical benzene by more than 13,000%.

The gas industry is continuing to harm our health and our climate, yet our governments are failing to act.

A few short hours ago, 7 children and 3 women were murdered by Israel when an IOF tank fired on a Palestinian family as they tried to return home in Gaza.

Did you find this news "extraordinarily moving," @senatorwong.bsky.social? Is this the "pause" that induced you to fawn over Trump? #auspol

My good God, reading about USA politics is both exhausting and scary.
Here in Australia, we should be both alert and alarmed.
Protect our precious and fragile democracy - with its checks and balances- to stop the contagion.
