It's so fucking convenient that they get to "fear for their lives" anytime they want to absolve themselves of anything and when we actually fear for our lives because of them and do anything a scared person would do it's justification for our death.

Okay. FF7Rebirth redeemed itself a bit in the Mythril Mines section. Still have complaints about the combat mechanics vs Remake, but that was a stretch of quality game there and hopefully it maintains quality from here.

I agree and on an unrelated note I was running up against this problem in my coaching practice too. Breaking down every possible/niche way a bad habit could get exploited instead of just hammering the big, common, dangerous ones.

i think fundamentally we are inclined to structure our arguments like tumblr callouts where we explain every possible harm as if putting our whole pussy in the list of harms will make it more convincing and so we end up stuck defending weaker points instead of pounding the stronger ones in

Nevermind they did a new thing and all I can say is burn all the FF7Rebirth moogles with fire. Earthshattering fuckup of the cutest design in FF with these abominations.
I'm really trying to find something positive to say about this game but right now I'm holding out hope it gets better in 10 hours
