Lol, I highly doubt he was being careless. Guess a former cia analyst focused on China would have trouble with speaking in metaphors that don’t involve China and extremity when confronted with millions of people wanting socialism right in your backyard. Must feel like you lost the war or something.
Yeah, I’m willing to think he was being careless, but either way, the “warmth of collectivism” got 40 million people killed during Mao’s Great Famine (1959-61), and no sane person should be using this language.

Property taxes in the neighboring county are going up at astronomical rate and they just announced that due to a software vendor error they won’t be available to view till they get it figured out, BUT!! you still have to pay by the 1st of January to avoid penalties.

Recently I posted about knowing my mom was on a collision course with homelessness and that she wasn’t doing much about it…after she drove 9 hours to Nebraska for a nonexistent job and ended up sleeping in her truck she is heading back. She will arrive at my house in a few minutes.
