Ah here. The 10 o’clock news on BBV Radio 4 is leading with ‘JD Vance has described a woman shot dead by an ICE officer in Minnesota as a deranged leftist carrying out a terrorist attack’

This is not public service broadcasting
So far the BBC’s coverage of the Minnesota killing seems really, really off

Get Verify to verify what happened - NYT, Bellingcat etc already have - and report that
Evan Davis faux scratching his head on PM as to how there can be such different interpretations of clearly documented incidents (the shooting in Minnesota), right after platforming someone from the Heritage Foundation giving a deliberately false interpretation of events, barely challenged.

🧵In my expert opinion as a researcher of vehicle ramming attacks, what has been publicly described in the video evidence does not support the claim that Renee Nicole Good was attempting a deliberate ramming attack when she was shot in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. 1/7

For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Good’s vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies

We don’t need to call Farage names.

Brexit’s record does that for us - a catastrophic failure.

Alongside a whole lot of donations from some pretty questionable sources.

Funny how loud the insults get when the facts start to land.

Imagine this was invested in tackling climate change…
Trump: "I have determined that, for the Good of our Country, especially in these very troubled and dangerous times, our Military Budget for the year 2027 should not be $1 Trillion Dollars, but rather $1.5 Trillion. This will allow us to build the 'Dream Military' that we have long been entitled to."

seems fine that the government is leaving the investigation of AI creation of child sexual abuse content (a crime) entirely to an organization whose previous investigations include pre-watershed swearing in Emmerdale and a barfing contestant incident on Dick and Dom's Hoopla

I am extremely confused as to why the UK government and police are saying Grok’s mass-scale CSAM generation is an issue for Ofcom.

This isn’t about X failing to moderate CSAM, which is an Online Safety Act issue. It is about the company and its technology being actively involved in its generation.
